News24xx.com - A call of Bunda is taught to many children to call their mother. But as Muslims, this is a criticism of the mention of 'Bunda' to female parents. This is based on the existence of a connection with the call in the Christian group, Bunda Maria.

The call for mother adhered to the issue of custom to the uniformly applicable law mentioned by Ibn Taymiyyah, which means: "the law of origin of routines (people's routines) that is not a problem as long as nothing is forbidden by Allah in it." (majmu'ah al - fatawa, 4: 196).

Furthermore, Ibn Taymiyyah rahimahullah mentions, which means: "the custom of human routines in the matter of their world they need. The law of origin of this routine is that there is no prohibition unless Allah forbids it." (majmu'ah al - fatawa, 29: 16-17)

Another explanation is conveyed by a teacher of the author, Shaykh Sa'ad bin Nashir Ash Shatsri who said, "The law of origin is that it is capable, we must not say, nor is it forbidden. The law is able to be turned to another law if (1) there is a ruling that rules , (2) there are arguments that prohibit. " (Sharh al manzhumah as sa'diyyah, p. 88).

Another call for a mother even though there is no firm argument that prohibits it. Regarding the pretext, it was Christian tasyabbuh (imitating) because of the call of Maria in the Christian group, namely Bunda Maria.

For conditions that must be understood, Shaykh Muhammad bin Shalih al 'Uthaymeen said: "The standard of tasyabbuh is when living a thing such as the specificity of the person being imitated. things have spread in the midst of Muslim groups and also it does not become a distinctive feature or differentiator with infidels, so it will not be referred to as tasyabbuh, so it is not punished like tasyabbuh, but it can be considered unlawful in other respects. " (majmu 'fatawa shaykh ibn ‘utsaimin, 3:30)

at this time, is there anyone who is able to bring if there is a mother who is called "Bunda" by her child, after that is accused, "ooh, that person is non-Muslim well?" of course no one said that uniform.

Mother's call is still the same position with the mother, mom, mbok, mam, and others.

If non-Muslims use it, it does not mean that a Muslim is prohibited from using it because the call is a public call without regard to religion. if anyone calls his mother with ummi (my mother), that's fine.

However, as a suggestion of this news, only the All-Knowing God of all things means the words and calls of the child to his mother.
