Management of Ancol beach put up warning signs about jellyfish

News24xx.com - There are many jellyfish appear near Ancol beach. It has even become the talk on social media. The management gave warning the visitors to avoid the jellyfish when swimming.
 

At the beach, there is a sign that says ‘WARNING. Be careful for visitors who play in the water/swimming to avoid jellyfish. Ancol Management.’
 

“We put up warning sign and the cleaning team and the lifeguards do jellyfish netting. The first aid team is also on standby at the beach area,” said the manager, Rika Lestari.
 

Before this, many jellyfish, in various sizes, were sighted at Ancol beach. There are white jellyfish and brown jellyfish. The visitors have been worried about it but Rika said that there are still some who continue their activities at the beach.
 

“So far, the visitors are quite comfortable continuing their activities, swimming and playing in the water at Ancol beach,” she said.
 

Rika said that the jellyfish that have been caught will be secured at Ancol Seaworld and added to the collection.
