BPBD, PMI, Dompet Duafa, RUmah Zakat and others, together with ACT deliver human aids through humanitarian ships

News24xx.com - The second stage humanitarian ship departed for Pantoloan Port, Palu. This ship was departed from Tanjung Priok Terminal, Jakarta, Monday, October 15th 2018.

Hundreds of tons of food and logistics are loaded on this ship for disaster victims in Central Sulawesi. And along with the delivery of aid by land, Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) also sent large quantities of food and logistics loads by sea.

ACT sent this shipment in collaboration with PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). Namely KMP Drajat Paciran, the ship that was lined up as the second Humanitarian Ship for Palu, Sigi and Donggala.

From the release received from act.id/news on Monday, October 15th, 2018, Fitra Wahyu, as Marketing Communication for Aksi Cepat Tanggap Riau Province, revealed that the second phase of the humanitarian ship departed is a serious effort to deal with emergencies, after more than two weeks of disaster this paralyzes the capital of Central Sulawesi and its surroundings.

"The total material of the installation and logistics comes from public donations, communities and agencies. The total is 750 tons" he said.

"The assistance is in the form of basic necessities, mineral water, medicines, sanitation packages, baby and toddler food needs, blankets, tents, and others" he continued.

"ACT expresses gratitude for the care and humanity of all donors" he said.

Wahyu stated that this form of concern from various parties was collected at the Indonesia Humanitarian Center (IHC) warehouse in Sindur mount, Bogor.

In addition to bringing the community's assistance collected, Humanitarian Ship will also bring the assistance mandated by the people of DKI Jakarta and a number of agencies collected at City Hall.

They include the Regional Disaster Management Agency of DKI Jakarta Province, the Indonesian Red Cross of DKI Jakarta, Dompet Dhuafa, Handwritten Organizations, Zakat Houses, Youth Power Indonesia, and Jakarta Forward Volunteers.
