Apple CEO: iPad Sales Beat All Laptops

News24xx.com -  Apple's iPad sales are still very good. Even the number exceeds the sales of all famous laptop manufacturers.

Quoted from CNBC, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that Apple has marketed more than 400 million iPad units since its introduction in 2012. While in the last 4 quarters, 44.2 million iPads were sold, beating laptop sales from HP, Lenovo, Dell and others.

"What you might not know is that we sold more iPads last year than the entire line up of laptops from all the biggest manufacturers," Cook claims during the latest iPad launch.

While 18.3 million units of Mac laptops were sold in the last 4 quarters, placing Apple in the middle position of the biggest laptop computer manufacturer.

Apple itself has just released an iPad Pro made like the iPhone X. This tablet strips off the iconic Home button. Access security is replaced by a Face ID.

In addition, the bezel is made thinner. Therefore the 10.5 inch iPad Pro is now updated with an 11 inch screen size. While the 12.9-inch iPad Pro comes with a smaller body size.

Apple has a Liquid Retina display screen with rounded corners. The latest tablet screen resolution is 2388 x 1668 pixels with 3.98 million pixels and a density of 264 ppi.
