A gang raped a young student and murdering her by smashing her head with a rock

News24xx.com -  Tragic, a gang of man raped a young student before murdering her by smashing her head with a rock. Now, they have been jailed for life. The gang of man named Geraldo Parsons, 27, Vernon Witbooi, 33, and Eben van Niekerk, 28, were found guilty of a woman rape and murder, as well as the kidnap, robbery and attempted murder of Cheslin. 

At that time, the poor woman Hannah Cornelius, 21, was ambushed and carjacked by the men after dropping her friend Cheslin Marsh, 22, at his home in Stellenbosch, Cape Town in May 2017. 

Hannah was threatened with a screwdriver to her chest through the open window of her VW Citi Golf as she chatted with Mr Marsh outside his block of flats. The men pushed Hannah between the two front seats and robbed Marsh of his phone and cash and locked him in the car boot. Then, the three men then drove to a drug dealer’s home to smoke crystal meth, before driving out of Stellenbosch and pulling over near a local vineyard.

There, they dragged Mr Marsh out of the boot and made him lay his head on a rock on the ground before battering his skull with bricks until they thought he was dead. 

Hannah was then driven to another area where she was brutally gang-raped. Known that Hannah begged the gang to let her go if she agreed to have sex with them. 

One of the gang, Parsons said,  in a desperate bid to save her own life, Hannah did not scream when they raped her with brutal until many times. But after the brutal rape, the thugs drove to a secluded spot where they stabbed her neck twice and crushed her skull with a large boulder and thrown in the boot of her own car. 

Witbooi and Parsons have also been handed 25 years for attempted murder, 15 years each for four counts of robbery and 10 years for kidnapping.
