Guitarist of Aerosmith rushed to hospital in the middle of concert

News24xx.com - Aerosmith’s guitarist, Joe Perry was rushed to hospital after doing concert together with musician Billy Joel on Saturday, November 10th 2018 at Madison Square Garden, New York. Ace Showbiz mentioned that Perry had to be taken out from the concert location, after suddenly fainted in the dressing room behind the stage.

Paramedics spent 30 minutes opening Perry's breathing path before transferring the 68-year-old man to the nearest hospital. Perry's representative, Marcee Rondan, released an official statement on Sunday, November 11th 2018, confirmed and mentioned that Perry had a 'short breath and was treated by paramedics behind the stage by giving him oxygen'. "This morning Perry woke up in the hospital, fully conscious and responsive" he said.

"He could not perform today (Sunday) at Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in Florida and apologized for that. Perry is expected can return to his activities at the end of this month" the representative continued. It is still unclear what causes Perry's respiratory problems, but Perry is known to have experienced a similar incident, namely fainting backstage at one of the 2016 Hollywood Vampires concerts.
