"The Air Transport Business License is a permit issued by the Online Single Submission (OSS) Institution for and on behalf of the Minister of Transportation. That is after a company registers to start a scheduled commercial air transportation business," he explained.

 

The Director General of Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation also said that the requirement for a company to obtain permission to refer to Law Number 1 of 2009 concerning Aviation, Government Regulation Number 44 of 2018 concerning Electronic Integrated Licensing Services, Minister of Transportation Regulation Number KM 25 of 2008 concerning Transport Implementation Air, and changes.

Then the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 90 of 2018 concerning Norms, Standards, Procedures, and Criteria for Integrated Electronic Business Licensing in the Air Transportation Sector.

 

"Applicants for Scheduled Commercial Air Transportation Business Permits may be in the form of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) or Indonesian Legal Entities in the form of Limited Liability Companies or Cooperatives, which will carry out activities primarily for aircraft transportation, cargo , and / or post by collecting payments for flights on a regular schedule, "he explained.

 

Requirements for application for Scheduled Commercial Air Transport Business License, namely having a Business Registration Number (NIB) in accordance with the OSS and a Business License that has not been effective, fulfills administrative requirements (as part of the commitment requirements). Then it must meet the technical requirements in the form of a business plan for a minimum period of 5 years and then make PNBP payments.

 

"After applying and completing the requirements in accordance with the provisions, the Business License will be processed and the time is 30 Working Days after the file is received completely and correctly," said Polana.
