Dubrow diet, a new kind of diet which is better than Keto diet

News24xx.com - A few days ago, ketogenic diet is quite popular among people. This diet is claimed to be able to decrease your weight in a short time. All you have to do is to eat fat and almost no carbohydrate.
 

Now, a new kind of diet appears. It is said to be similar with ketogenic, but more effective. It is popularizes by a nutritionists couple, Heather Dubrow and Terry Dubrow. The diet aims to lose weight and to increase energy. It is called Dubrow diet.

Different from keto, Dubrow diet recommends an eating interval, where we do not eat in a period of time (fasting). It is because fasting is considered to be beneficial for our body. Furthermore, only eating fat is not very attractive and harder to maintain.
 

In fact, intermittent fasting is actually a good strategy in losing weight and it is quite a popular method. The result of the diet varies, but it is more effective than counting how much calorie you have consumed.

As cited from Man’s Health, Dubrow diet has three different phases. Each phase has different fasting period.

The first phase aims to shock the body and to change the internal hunger indicator. To do it, you have to fast for 16 hours for 5 days.
 

Then, you can move to the second phase, where you have three different fasting periods: slow, medium, or quick. If you want to be quick, you have to fast for 12 hours in a day, and you will lose 0,2-0,6 kg. You can still eat junk snacks at least once a week.
