Riau still has the potential to be hit by strong winds and heavy rain today

News24xx.com - Friday, November 23, 2018, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) noted that Riau Province still has the potential to rain. Besides heavy rain, it also has the chance to be accompanied by strong winds.

 

As stated by Head of Information Section (Kasi) BMKG Pekanbaru Station, Marzuki. "During the day the potential for rain is moderate to heavy, which can be accompanied by lightning and strong winds that occur in parts of Inhu, Pelalawan, Kampar, and Rohul" he said.

The air temperature during the day can reach a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius, with air humidity 60-98 percent and West-Northwest wind / 09-27 km / hour.

 

While for the night tends to be cloudy. The potential for rain is moderate to heavy which can be accompanied by lightning and strong winds that occur in parts of Kampar, Pekanbaru, Rohil, Rohul, Inhu, Inhil, Siak, Pelalawan, Bengkalis, and Dumai.

"Early warning for extreme weather remains alert to the potential for heavy rains that can be accompanied by strong winds and lightning occurring at night," said Marzuki.
