News24xx.com -  Afghanistan women's team that struggles to follow robotic championship in the United States (US) ended with the good news.

After being rejected twice, they finally managed to obtain a visa to fly to United States.

As delivered by White House spokesperson, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the visa permit team consisting of six smart girls got the green light by the US President Donald Trump.


Previously, they had could not join the race in international robot assemble contest, FIRST Global. Their visa were not approved even Afghanistan is not including countries that their citizens temporarily banned from entering the country.


The refusal visa accident of six teenage girls sparked criticism from human rights group, where they accused government officials ignoring U.S. efforts supporting Afghanistan women's empowerment, as well as raises concern over White House policy to the Muslim majority countries.


But now Afghanistan can join other countries to compete in the prestigious robotic competition. Same case with Afghanistan, Gambia who also briefly rejected now get a visa to the US, quoted from The Verge, Friday, July 14 2017.
