Facts about Wave Rock, a natural tourist destination in Australia

News24xx.com - Wave Rock is something you have to see when you travel to Australia. It is located around 3 km to the east of Hyden, West Australia. What makes it special is the fact that the rock looks like giant sea wave. The rock is formed since 2700 million years ago.

At least around 100.000 tourists visit this rock every year. The rock is 15 meters high and 110 meters long. It is the most beautiful rock formation in the world.
 

The chemical deposits at the surface of the rock create yellow and reddish gray vertical lines. What is unique is that sunlight can change the color.

Other than Wave Rock, there are also other beautiful rock formations in that area. There are King Rocks, Hippo’s Yawn, and Mulka’s Cave. There is a dam on top of the formation of Wave Rock. You can go up there with stairs that are already provided and see the scenery of the city.
