Researchers panicked due to the Earth magnetic pole moved from the Arctic ocean

News24xx.com - Earth is experiencing a phenomenon that makes experts confused. The phenomenon is the movement of the north magnetic pole of the Blue Planet. The magnetic north pole of the Earth is moving from the Arctic Ocean which touches Canada into Siberia, Russia, which is caused by an iron liquid that enters the Earth's core. This makes the Earth's magnetic pole change.

This makes the world's geologists move fast. They immediately updated the model of the Earth's magnetic field which is planned to be published this month. The World Magnetic Model, as the name implies, it is planned to be published on January 30th.

Indeed, the latest version of the World Magnetic Model which was launched in 2015 should be able to remain in effect until 2020. Unfortunately, the massive changes in the magnetic field make updates now."Errors that occur continue to increase over time" said Arnaud Chulliat, a geomagnetic expert from the University of Colorado Boulder, as quoted by Nature, Tuesday, January 15th 2019.

In improving the World Magnetic Model, Chulliat and his team used the latest data in the last three years. Hopefully, this latest version can remain accurate until 2020. The model itself is useful in providing a broad picture for navigation needs. These include matters relating to the navigation of airplanes and ships and data for Google Maps.
