The Killers, rock band from US releases a song about anti Donald Trump

News24xx.com - American rock band, The Killers, released a new song titled “Land Of The Free”. What is interesting is that this band used the theme of Anti Donald Trump in writing the lyrics.

As cited from NME, The Killers announced that the single will be available on music streaming server. The music video is directed by Spike Lee.

“Land Of The Free” was recorded in Battle Born Studios and produced by Jacknife Lee. Inside, there is an added gospel voice by Lynn Mabry, Dorian Holley, Will Wheaton, Sherree Patrice Brown and Akasha Mabry. There are also the voices of Amanda Brown, Danielle Rene Withers and Erica Canales.

This single was inspired by one of the latest incidents under Trump’s government and the past incident regarding immigrants. In the video, there is also a dramatic clip showing the immigrants at the border wall with Mexico. The band gave Lee as the director the full creative control of the video.

Lee recorded the video for week at the end of 2018. He went to the US-Mexico border, recording the families of immigrant who try to get to US.
