Recently, nature lovers found writings and drawings on the sand of Gran Canaria Beach, which might have been made by tourists. If this keeps going, experts say that it will damage the natural beauty and ecosystem of the beach.

The police also found pictures made of volcanic rocks and even drawings on the rocks. All of these things are illegal and if the culprits are found, they will be sent to jail.

Nature lovers believe that the culprits are tourists who wanted to take pictures with their “artwork”. To anticipate it, the nature lovers give warning in the form of pamphlets. The local authority also forbids tourists from doing it. If they are caught doing it, they will be fined or even imprisoned.
