5 years old boy in China resurrected from the death after not breathing for almost 2 hours

News24xx.com - A 5-year-old boy in Yibin, China, came back to life after being considered dead for 2 hours.

The boy fell into a pond and tried to save himself. The witnesses tried to help him.

When he was lifted out of the pond, he was unconscious. He was then brought to hospital for treatment but when the paramedics were about to treat him, he was not breathing anymore.

They assumed that the boy had died. Nonetheless, they still tried to do CPR for 40 minutes.

Shockingly, after 110 minutes or around 2 hours, the boy started breathing again. The paramedics then gave him respiratory assistance.

“Regardless of the boy’s revival, after not breathing for 2 hours, it can be considered a miracle,” said Doctor Wan Bo from Yibin Orthopedics Hospital, who treated the boy.

The boy is now treated for possible brain damage due to the incident. But it is still not clear whether he will suffer a long-term effect or not.
