Google faces backlash over Stadia

News24xx.com -  Google is making a game platform called Stadia. But as they still deal with the technical ramifications, gamers all over the world are starting to question it.

Their questions become deeper and more troubling as they go on. For example, what happens to game preservation? Or what happens if Google dwarfs gaming the same way it does with search, browsers and advertising?

Most of the concerns lie on how Google operates as a business. The company tends to launch some projects and then abandoning them. An example is Google+, which is Google’s version of Facebook. Another example is Google Health, which was a service to broaden access to health information. It was shut down in 2012 after not having the impact they hoped for.   

Despite all the worries and doubts, there is also excitement in the air. People are wondering how it feels like when games are not limited to the hardware in a single console or PC and one that takes players across multiple screen formats.
