The person who insipred the making of the Conjuring series, Lorraine Warren passed away in the age 92

News24xx.com - One of the world’s best paranormal investigators, Lorraine Warren, had passed away at the age of 92. Her death was announced by her son-in-law, Tony Spera.

“It is with deep sadness that I must announce that Lorraine Warren has passed away. She died peacefully in her sleep at home last night,” Spera wrote on Facebook on Thursday.

Warren and her husband, Ed, who had gone before her in 2006, were the inspiration of The Conjuring film franchise. In The Conjuring film universe, Ed and Lorraine are played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.

Lorraine, who claimed to be clairvoyant, had worked on several supernatural cases with her husband Ed. Some of their cases and investigations had been adapted into films, such as The Amityville Horror and The Haunting of Connecticut. But their depiction in The Conjuring is probably the most well-known.
