Miracle, a kitten found alive after being trapped in shipping container for 45 days

News24xx.com - An 8-month-old tabby cat was accidentally trapped in a shipping container for more than a month. The kitten flew from China to Italy.

The cat miraculously survived being trapped in a sealed space without food or water for 45 days. It was found by the customs officer in Pioltello near Milan during an inspection.

The cat is now under the care of Fabio Maffioletti, a veterinarian from Ats Metropolitan City of Milan. He said that the cat was weak and exhausted, it could barely drag itself. He said it must have found something to eat among the cargo to survive.

The orange tabby cat is believed to come from the Far East. Maffioletti and his colleagues named the kitten “Cina” after its origin.
