A couple nearly fell to their death during a romantic waterfall proposal

However, in one of the engagement photos, the couple was covered in mud. They said, they almost fell to their death during the waterfall proposal.

The incident happened last Thursday. The couple went to explore the waterfalls with their dog Walter.

After taking a wrong turn, Taylor, who was carrying Walter, lost his footing and slid down the steep path. Holding was almost sure her boyfriend and pet would die as they tumbled down the muddy slope and dropped into shallow water and jagged rocks.

In panic, Holding ran toward them but also slipped and slid down. Fortunately, Taylor went to grab Holding while holding Walter in one arm as she tumbled past him, saving her life.

The couple then went to get themselves to safety. After they were on firmer ground, Taylor finally proposed to Holding, and she said yes. Despite the life-threatening incident, the couple got their romantic proposal in the end.

“I can’t imagine a better way to have been proposed to. It was brilliant—and so us. We don’t ever do things by halves so to almost die and then get engaged was just perfect. Everyone has expected us to get engaged for a while but this is definitely the most exciting way it could have happened,” Taylor said.
