News24xx.com - The young Japanese midfielder, Takefusa Kubo, officially becomes a new Real Madrid player. Los Blancos has just announced the recruitment of the 18-year-old player. Through its official website, on Friday, June 14th 2019 (14/6), Madrid announced Kubo as his new player. Kubo will strengthen Real Madrid Castilla starting on next season.

According to the Football Espana report, Kubo is tied with a six-year contract. Madrid paid two million Euros to get the former La Masia player. Kubo has spent four years at the Barcelona academy. But he had to leave in 2015 when Barcelona was convicted of illegally recruiting underage players.

Kubo who has the nickname of 'Messi from Japan', later joined FC Tokyo. He was promoted to the first team in 2016, when he was 15 years old. Kubo has become a mainstay of the Japanese national team in various age groups. The player born on June 4, 2001 also made his debut in Japan's senior national team in a friendly match against El Salvador on June 9.

Throughout 2019, Kubo appeared 13 times in the J.League. He scored four goals and four assists. Kubo is Madrid's sixth recruit on this summer. Previously, Madrid had introduced Rodrygo, Eder Militao, Luka Jovic, Ferland Mendy and Eden Hazard as their new players.
