Virgil van Dijk admitted that street football helps him to be a better center back in Liverpool

"I have benefited a lot from a one-on-one situation with frequent playing on the street football" Van Dijk said in an interview with Unisport. "I often play five against five when I was a teenager and I like to attack at that moment, so you can guess how the striker might think in certain situations" he continued.

"Of course, that also comes from my professional career experience, but I think if you want to be good defender or attacker, then keep practicing in the streets with your friends" Van Dijk suggested.
