Immigration office of Bengkalis released 5654 passports within 6 months

News24xx.com - The Immigration Office Class II of Bengkalis has released 5654 passports from January 2019 to June 2019.

According to the Head of Immigration Office Class II, Jose Rizal, the number of passports made varies for every month. The biggest numbers are in January, which is 1100 copies, and in June, which is 1250 copies.

“January and June were the most significant, there was an increase in passport demand,” he said.

He explained that the sudden increase of passport demand was due to the holiday trend among the citizens. Many of them still intended to go to domestic tourist destinations, like Java Island. But they would make a transit in another country, like Singapore or Malaysia, because the flight tickets tend to be cheaper.
