News24xx.com - After the fire that burnt down 199 kiosks in Sungai Salak Market, Tempuling District, Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Riau, around 47 merchants had no way to get money. This made anxious, especially because Eid Al-Adha  is less than a month away.

“We want to get temporary place as soon as possible, because we have to get money, especially because Eid Al-Adha is nearing,” said Bg Lopi, one of the merchants whose kiosks were burnt.

This situation moved the heart of Secretary of National and Political Unity Agency (Kesbangpol), Marlis Syarif. He joined the meeting with the merchants in the District Head’s office of Tempulling on Thursday.

On Friday, Marlis came with help for the merchants in the form of 5 scores of zinc roof and IDR 5 million in cash. The help was received by the District Head of Tempuling, Ridwan.

“We, as the people who had just suffered from a disaster, are really grateful for the help in the form of zinc and cash,” Ridwan said.
