Ahead of Independence Day, Satpol PP Meranti Appeals Residents to Uphold the Flag

News24xx.com - Nearing the Independence Day on August 17, 1945 the Meranti Islands Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) appealed to the public to put up a red and white flag in the home yard.

Kasatpol Kepulauan Meranti Helfandi through the Head of Community Protection (Kabid Linmas) Masdiana said, this was in order to remind the citizens in obeying the good citizenship rules.

"We make this appeal so that the community is aware and we want to arouse the community related to independence day so that they will love the Republic of Indonesia," said Masdiana, Wednesday (07/08/2019).

He said again, this also followed up on a circular from Tebingtinggi District.

"We are following up on our directives namely operating the protocol road, tomorrow we will continue to carry out the follow up operation which the region has not been monitored," said Masdiana.
