News24xx.com - Commemorating the 58th Scout Day which falls on Monday (8/19/2019), all members of the Meranti scout movement were asked to play an active role in anticipating the Forestry and Plastic Trash in order to create environmental harmony.

Deputy Regent of Meranti, Said Hasyim who is also the Chairperson of the Meranti Islands Kwarcab claimed to be in the midst of concern because of the many current problems that threaten the integrity and sustainability of the Indonesian state and nation.

"Therefore, on this occasion, I invite all administrators of the journalists, trainers and coaches, and all members of the Scouts to always be pioneers in instilling the values ??of extra ordinary crimes," he said.

He further said, environmental damage and pollution is the negligence of all of us of the importance of thinking about the legacy that will be given to future generations. Loving nature is a form of compassion for each Scout member for himself and for the next generation.
 
"On this occasion I ask all members of the Scouts to respond to various problems, especially land fires, when I see the fire, I ask the scout movement to look for blackouts, before it enlarges, let alone to become a national problem," Said Hasyim said.

And no less important, the Deputy Regent requested that the Boy Scouts also play an active role in the problem of plastic waste that is littered in Selatpanjang City.

"I ask my sister and Scout members to be responsive and play an active role in overcoming the problem of plastic waste, if necessary from today we can move to reduce plastic waste," he said.
