UAS Reported to Police, MS Kaban Call Riau Malay Community Not Silent

News24xx.com - Chairperson of the Syrian Council of the Crescent Star Party (PBB) MS Kaban responded to the issue of reporting to Ustaz Abdul Somad (UAS) by a mass organization in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) for allegedly defaming Christianity.

Kaban said that policing the UAS on the accusation was considered a condition that evoked faith. The former Minister of Forestry during the Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) era also reminded him of the title Datuk Sri Ulama Setia Negara. He said the cleric who came from Riau, his people would not remain silent.

Meanwhile, Ustaz Abdul Somad himself has clarified the report. Ustaz Somad said if the video is an internal study that has been cut with the aim that Muslims understand the law of sculpture.

'' There are Muslims who cut up the video. He posted. The goal is that people understand the law of sculpture. So, this is for internal purposes only (Muslims - Red), '' the UAS said as quoted by Republika.co.id.

UAS itself later learned that the video was spread through internet networks. Therefore, he said, even non-Muslims might access it. In fact, once again, the target of his da'wah is merely the Muslims.

'' The video reached the Catholic group. They post on their Instagram-charts, so it's crowded, '' said UAS.
