15 Public Schools in Bengkalis Regency Get Adiwiyata This Year

BENGKALIS - A total of 15 public and private schools in Bengkalis Regency are environmentally friendly or Adiwiyata in 2019. The school is the result of an independent selection carried out by the Bengkalis Regency Environmental Agency (DLH) some time ago.

Starting from the elementary school level (elementary), junior high (junior) to senior high (senior) equivalent. The school that was assessed was in compliance with the best environmental requirements. Then submitted to the District Coordinator (Korwil) District Education Office (Disdik) on August 16, 2019 then.

The following schools have been named as environmentally friendly schools or Adiwiyata in 2019 from each sub-district.

In Bengkalis District, SDN 50 Bengkalis, SMPN 7 Bengkalis, Bantan District SDN 27 Bantan (Papal Bay), SMPN 3 Bantan (Middle Bantan). In Siak Kecil Subdistrict are SDN 3 and SDN 8 Siak Kecil (Tanjung Belit).

In Bukit Batu District, MAN 2 Bengkalis School (Dompas Village). Rupat District, SMPN 4 Rupat (Darul Aman Village) and Rupat Utara District, SDN 2 Rupat (Tanjung Medang Village).

Bathin Solapan District, SMAN 3 Bathin Solapan (Balai Makam Village), Mandau District, SDN 7 Mandau (Pematang Pudu) and SMPN 7 Mandau (Harapan Baru Village).

Then in Kecamatan Pinggir, SDN 8 Pinggir (Tengganau Village) and SMPN 2 Pinggir (Balai Raja Village), and one private school, Mutiara Pinggir Middle School.

Meanwhile, the Head of DLH Bengkalis Regency, H. Arman AA, told a number of journalists that the 15 schools were declared to have passed the environmental perspective, a result of the selection that had been conducted by the joint team some time ago.

The schools that won the Adiwiyata title at the regency level, will then be proposed to participate in the Adiwiyata selection at the Riau Province level in 2020.

 

"We hope that the fifteen schools that are declared as Adiwiyata schools at the district level will be consistent and increase their environmental insight. Because we will propose again to pursue Adiwiyata in the provinces next year, nationally, and even independently," Arman said, Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

It was informed, 24 public and private school units in Bengkalis Regency from elementary, junior high, and senior high schools followed the Adiwiyata school assessment in district level in 2019.

The schools that participated in Adiwiyata's selection included, among others, SD Negeri 8 Pinggir District, SMPN 2 Pinggir, SMA Negeri 2 Pinggir, for schools in Mandau District, SD Negeri 7 Mandau, SMP Negeri 7 Mandau, and SMA Negeri 3 Mandau. Bandar Laksamana District, SD Negeri 5 and SMP Negeri 1, Bukit Batu District, MAN 2 Bengkalis and Siak Kecil District SD Negeri 3 Tanjung Belit, SD Negeri 8 Tanjung Belit and SD N 11 Sungai Nibung.
