Only 5,797 Companies Registered Their Employees to Pekanbaru BPJS Employment

News24xx.com - A total of 5,797 listed companies registered their employees at the Manpower Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS). The company is located in the city of Pekanbaru, Siak Regency, Kampar Regency, and Pelalawan Regency (Pekansikawan).

Head of the Pekanbaru BPJS Employment Office, Mias Mukhtar, Saturday (08/24/2019), said the company that registered its employees at BPJS Employment was 5,797.
The company is located in Pekanbaru City, Kampar Regency, Siak Regency and Pelalawan Regency.

For the city of Pekanbaru, companies that do not register their workers with the BPJS Employment will not be denied permission by the Office of Investment and One Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP).

"Because, this program is a concern. So, the obligation of employers to provide protection to workers through DPMPTSP," he explained.

In addition to private companies, the City Government of Pekanbaru also registered freelance workers (THL) to the Employment BPJS. At present there are 4,459 THL Pekanbaru City Government registered.

"Even though THLs have been registered, we continue to socialize it to the regional government organization (OPD) of Pemko Pekanbaru. Because collecting THL requires a lot of time, we invite each OPD to explain to the THL," Mias explained.
