News24xx.com -Russian President, Vladimir Putin, signed an important agreement with Saudi Arabia during an OPEC visit aimed at stabilizing global oil prices and trying to defuse regional tensions with Iran.

Putin's visit is Russia's follow-up to the attack of Saudi oil installations by the United States through chaos in Iran.

The two countries signed around 20 billion-dollar agreements and contracts for aerospace, culture, health, advanced technology, and agriculture.

The key between the agreements is to increase cooperation between countries called OPEC.

Moscow is not a member of OPEC, but has worked closely with the group to limit supply and push prices after the 2014 downturn that wreaked havoc on the Russian economy and Saudi Arabia's heavyweight cartel.

At the meeting the two countries also discussed military and technical cooperation.
