Ignoring a Selfie Ban in This Area, One Family Was Killed By a Truck

News24xx.com - The deadly accident occurred again on the Tarahan hill, precisely on Jalan Lintas Sumatera (Jalinsum) Kilometer (KM) 21-22, Tarahan Village, Katibung District, South Lampung, Sunday (27 October 2019) morning. In this incident, a family of four people were killed by a truck while taking a selfie.

Kasat Lantas South Lampung Regional Police AKP Muhammad Kasyfi Mahardika said, the chronology of the accident started when the BE 9037 NE truck number drove fast from the direction of Bakauheni to Bandarlampung.

When in an accident area, truck drivers cannot control the vehicle. Then, crashed into a Yamaha Nmax BE 2576 ABL motorcycle that was pulled over for a selfie. One family consisting of a husband and wife and two children died in the incident. The truck also damaged the road separator on the left.

"According to witnesses at the location of the Nmax driver being photographed on the roadside," he said at the crime scene, Sunday (27 October 2019).

As a result of the collision, the truck overturned and entered the lane in the opposite direction. In an upside down and out of control situation, the next truck crashed into a white Honda Beat that drove from Bandarlampung to Bakauheni.

"The person who drove the Beat survived without injury because he jumped to see the truck heading towards him. For the victims who died all had been taken to the BOB Bazar Hospital Kalianda, South Lampung," he said.

Information from local residents Asmawan (50), Nmax motorcyclists when the accident was taking pictures at the location.

"I was able to reprimand them that morning, do not photograph there danger, about 10-20 minutes I reached home, then the accident occurred. I did not have time to evacuate the victim's death but the driver and his assistant I helped to help," he said.

The victim's identity is known as Jufebri Mars (36), Santiah (35), Dini Pratiwi (4) and Dino Framdan (8). The four are family members from Tanjung Aman Village, Kotabumi Selatan District, North Lampung Regency, Lampung Province.
