Inhil Regency Government Provides Boat and Fishing Equipment Assistance to Fishermen Groups in Kuindra

INHIL- Indragiri Regency Government Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) provides assistance to fishermen groups in Sapat Village, Kuala Indragiri Subdistrict of boats and fishing gear, Sunday 10 November 2019.

Also present in the delivery of aid, Dandim 0314 / Inhil Lt. Col. Inf Imir Faishal, Head of the Tembilahan District Attorney, Head of the Tembilahan District Court and Head of the Fisheries Service and a number of echelon officials in the Inhil District Government.

Indragiri Hilir Regent HM Wardan said that groups of fishermen who had been given assistance should be grateful, because not all fishing groups received the assistance.

"As many as 18 units of boats and fishing gear were handed over to 9 fishing business groups in 4 Districts including Reteh, Tembilahan, Kuindra and Tanah Merah Districts," said Inhil Regent.

The Regent urged the fishermen to make the best use of the boat and fishing gear. "The boat and fishing equipment assistance may not be traded, lent or rented. The assistance from the Government is to be used as well as possible by group members who have received assistance," he said.

Meanwhile, Dandim 0314 / Inhil Lt. Col. Inf Imir Faishal when confirmed by reporters said that the assistance given to fishermen is proof of the concern of the Indragiri Hilir Regency government.

"So we hope that this assistance can be useful and can make the fishermen more motivated to work and the fishermen's income will improve so that their economy will improve," hoped Dandim.

Dandim 0314 / Inhil Lt. Col. Inf Imir Faishal also appealed to all fishermen and the general public not to do environmental damage to catch fish and the like.
