1. Green Boots

2. Sleeping Beauty

Francys Arsentiev, an American climber who lost his life due to frostbite when separated from her husband on the mountain in 1999. The couple climbed the summit without additional oxygen and descended when the disaster struck.

Her husband died falling off a cliff but no one knew where. Over the years, his body was clad in a purple jacket he was wearing. Because his body just lay in the open, he was given the name Sleeping Beauty.

3. First Climber's Body

George Mallory was actually the first person who almost succeeded in carrying out the Everest mountain expedition. He went on an expedition in 1924. Unfortunately, he failed to survive, he also lost his life and could not be identified until 1999.

If George had survived, he would have been known as the first person to reach the top.

4. Hannelore Schmatz

German climber Hannelore Schmatz lost his life due to frostbite in 1976.

Some say Schmats tried to reach the camp but he stopped at 330 feet from camp due to exhaustion.
