JAKARTA - Former Head of the Department of Tourism (Kadis) of Riau Province, Fahmizal Usman died while attending an event in the city of Bandung, West Java.

Fahmizal is currently the Deputy Assistant of Marketing 1 Regional 2 of the Ministry of Tourism. According to Tourism Ministry public relations staff, Yanti Aprianti, Fahmizal breathed his last at 12:10 a.m.

"At this time we (the Ministry of Tourism) are in the process of handling the bodies at the Santo Boromeus Hospital in Bandung," he said when contacted via text message on Friday (12/13/2019).
