Regency Government Holds Team Formulation and Regional Competitiveness Framework Meeting

SIAK-Government and Welfare Assistant Budhi Yuwono chaired the meeting Formulation of the team and regional competitiveness framework. The meeting was held in the Sri Indrapura room, which was attended by a number of representatives from the DPO in the Siak Regency Government and from the LTKL Team.

The meeting that was held together with the Lestari District Gathering Discussed about data related to the regional competitiveness framework facilitated by the Lestari Gathering Circle (LTKL). In a presentation delivered by Government and Welfare Assistant Budhi Yuwono explained, the Letari District Circle Meeting (LTKL) is an Association of Regency Governments in Indonesia that has declared itself to be committed to accelerating the implementation and reduction of emissions through the principles of open government. LTKL members have agreed that measurement and reporting on the development of regional commitments is very important to be followed up.

A credible regional reporting system will encourage regional competitiveness and attract potential sustainable incentives.

"What we need to identify is about activities that support green Siak, so that they can inform all commodity data in Siak Regency," he explained.

Budhi also explained that the LTKL Secretariat together with the member districts and the LTKL partner network formulated a regional competitiveness framework (KDSD) which is a summary of national policies and market-based frameworks for enhancing sustainable commodity productivity that are aligned with regional policies.

"The main objective of the KDSD is to simplify the measurement and reporting process in the LTKL district. Besides that by summarizing the main criteria and frameworks, it is hoped that districts will be able to carry out one process to share their uses," he concluded. (R24 / Lin)
