Two people were killed and dozens more injured due to mass shootings in a bar in Kansas

News24xx.com - At least two people died after a gunman opened fire when passengers were queuing outside a bar in Kansas City, Missouri. At least 15 people were injured after the incident and three people are known to be in critical condition, police said.

The attack took place around 11:30 pm on Sunday outside 9ine Ultra Lounge, near East US Highway 40.

A police spokesman said when they arrived at the scene, two people were found dead, including a woman in a car park.

Police believe the gunman was the one killed and that they were shot by an armed security guard to stop the attack.

A police spokesman said the gunman opened fire on the line of people waiting to enter the bar but the motive for the attack was not immediately clear. Police were told at least 15 people were rushed to a local hospital with injuries from the shooting and at least three people were in critical condition.
