PEKANBARU - Many schools in Pekanbaru City won the Adiwiyata Award. This turned out to attract the Government of the City of Padang Panjang to study it to the city of Pekanbaru.

The Government of the City of Padang Panjang through the Department of Public Housing and the Environmental Settlement Area (Perkim-LH) visited the Department of Environment and the Environment (DLHK) Pekanbaru City, Friday (1/24/2020).

The meeting, which was held in the DLHK meeting room, was filled with discussions on Pekanbaru City's DLHK tips to support schools to win Adiwiyata.

"We see media posts about the environment and Adiwiyata is very good, so we come here," said the Head of the Padang Panjang Regional Office of Law and Human Rights, Wita DS during the discussion.

Wita added that her party appreciated the achievements of Adiwiyata received by schools in the city of Pekanbaru. For this reason, she is interested in learning tips so that schools in the city of Padang Panjang also get Adiwiyata.

"Our goal here is to learn. We know, this school in Pekanbaru receives a lot of Adiwiyata, so we come here to learn how to do it and how, "she said.

Meanwhile, Secretary of the Pekanbaru City LHK Service, Fiora Helmi expressed her gratitude for the appreciation given by the Padang Panjang Municipal Government for the achievement of the Adiwiyata Award obtained by schools in Pekanbaru City.
