The Chairperson of the Regional Representative Council (DPRD) Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Riau, Ferriyandi officially opened the North Inhil Badminton Open by 2020 on Saturday (25 January 2020) in Kateman District.

In his remarks, the Golongan Karya politician said the enthusiasm of the badminton athletes in North Inhil was quite high, indicating that the area really loved the sport.

"I am grateful, because the implementation of the North Se-Inhil Open Batminton activity in Kateman District in GOR Gumes 56. The athletes' involvement is quite high, this indicates that badminton has developed well and rapidly," he said.

As the Chairperson of PBSI Inhil, Ferriyandi revealed that he, along with the PBSI management, greatly appreciated the activities organized by PBSI Kateman.

"Hopefully the athletes will carry the fragrant name of Inhil, especially in the field of badminton. Where, Inhil has won gold and silver medals in badminton," hoped Ferriyandi.
