Bengkalis Burning, BMKG: 17 Hotpsot Appears in Riau Today

PEKANBARU - The Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Pekanbaru station is again monitoring the presence of hotspots on Sunday (1/26/2020) morning.

Based on Terra Aqua satellite monitoring, there are dozens of hotspots in Riau that have appeared this morning.

"Today 17 hotspots appear in Riau," said the BMKG Pekanbaru station Prakirawan, Bibin Sulianto via text message whatsappnya.

Furthermore, Bibin said, the 17 hotspots are located in two regencies in Riau, including 13 hotspots in Bengkalis Regency and four hotspots in Pelalawan Regency.

"Meanwhile, hotspots with confidence levels above 70 percent have 11 points, 10 are in Bengkalis and one is in Pelalawan Regency," he said.
