Anticipating Corona Virus, RSUD Puri Husada Prepares Special Equipment and Room

News24xx.com - The outbreak of the coronavirus found in Wuhan, China has alarmed all countries in the world, including in Indonesia and even Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Riau.

To anticipate the transmission of the virus that allegedly came from wild animals, the Puri Husada Regional General Hospital (RSUD PH) Tembilahan has taken steps to provide special equipment and space.

As stated by the Director of PH Public Hospital, Saut Pakpahan, Monday (27 January 2020), his party has provided a special room to be a reference for cases of Emerging Infectious Diseases (PIE). Besides preparing the isolation room, Saut said that his party also prepared medical personnel and doctors.

"The Regional Hospital has also prepared the equipment needed including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) ranging from clothes, Google glasses, and N95 masks, and we also have a doctor for diseases in lung dam if needed for consultation," explained Saut.

He added until now there have been no reports of suspected coronavirus in the Inhil area.

If it is found, we have prepared a special route related to the handling of referral patients and patients found in Puri Husada Tembilahan District Hospital, said Saut.
