Siak Regency Government Launches Siak Live Room and Emergency Service Call Center Siak Siaga 112

The Siak Regency Government launched the Siak Live Room Command Center facility, which took place in the Bandar Serai Room of the Siak Regent Office, on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

The advanced facilities based on communication technology will be the center of command, coordination and decision making in responding to an important event or emergency in Siak Regency.

Various activities of the State Civil Apparatus to the public will also be monitored directly through the big screen in the office and smartphone of Siak Alfedri Regent through the available applications.

In addition, the Siak Live Room also includes a video conference facility that allows the Regent of Alfedri to communicate face-to-face with government officials in even the farthest sub-districts such as the Kerinci Kanan and Kandis Districts.

It can also be used to communicate between Regency and City Governments, Provincial Governments to the Central Government if needed.

The most interesting thing for the people of the State of the Palace, is of course the Siak Siaga 112 emergency response center service, which was initiated by the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia to facilitate callers in asking for help in emergency situations such as crime, fire or accident, and sudden illness and so on.

"This 112 call center service is the second in Riau, and will be a toll-free single number that makes it easy for everyone to get help in an emergency, forwarding reports to related agencies to get a response as soon as possible," said Director General of Post and Information Technology Ministry of Communications and Information Technology , Ahmad M Ramli who also attended the ceremonial launch of Siak Live Room.

"Siak Siaga 112 service will also guide to take actions that need to be taken in accordance with the emergency conditions experienced by the reporter," he said.

Siak Regent Alfedri when giving his remarks said the Siak Live Room facilities and the Siak Siaga 112 Call Center service were part of the answers and challenges of the Siak Regency Government in providing public services especially in emergency situations that were fast, precise and efficient.

"As we all know, Siak Regency is also an area prone to forest and land fires. The existence of the Siak Siaga 112 Call Center will make it easier for people to report the emergence of hotspots. In addition, the video conferencing facility will also make it easier for the camats to report important events that occur in their area, "said Regent Alfedri.

In addition, the Siak Live Room service and the 112 call center said the palace's number one person was part of the smart city program, which could be accessed toll-free on all operators either by cell phone or through home telephone, and operated for 24 hours.
