News24xx.com - Mohamad Risky Saputra is a 19-year-old trainee at the police training center (SPN) in Palu, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.

A photo of him bowing to his father as a sign of gratitude has been circulating lately on social media.

Risky's mother, Sumarni, told KOMPAS.com that their youngest son always wanted to be a police officer.

But due to the condition of their family, he told him that they could not afford it.

Risky also said that he wanted their blessings.

Sumarni added that her entire family depended on her husband's income, which only sold gado-gado and satay (Indonesian traditional food) around their house.

At first, even he could not believe that his son passed the selection exam and could not contain his excitement. His proud parents added that they would attend the police appointment ceremony in March in their best clothes.
