Stabbed during Prayer, London Mosque's Muezzin Already Forgive the Actor

An unknown man stabs Muadzin of the London Mosque Raafat Maglad while praying, on Thursday (20/2) afternoon local time. Although he had to get treatment at the hospital, the Muadzin claimed he had no grudges and had forgiven the perpetrators.

"A man who was stabbed in a central mosque in London during prayer. He (Raafat) said he had forgiven his attacker," Raafat told the BBC, quoted by Republika, on Friday (21/2).

Amazingly, Raafat immediately returned to the mosque near the Regent's park for Friday prayers. When asked why returning to the Central Mosque in London so soon after the attack, Raafat said it was very important for him as a Muslim to attend Friday prayers.

 

"If I miss it, I'm just missing something very important. This is very important for us as Muslims," ??he said.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, during a Friday prayer at the London Mosque said that his party did not treat the attack in connection with terrorism. However, he still asked worshipers to remain vigilant.

Reported after the stabbing of Raafat, London mosque worshipers immediately rushed to catch a 29-year-old man. The bailiff was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder to remain in police custody. "He was arrested by worshipers after prayers were finished before the officers arrived," the BBC wrote.

To Raafat told BBC, when he felt there was someone approaching and hitting sharp objects from behind. After that it felt blood running down his neck and all happened suddenly.

"After that I just felt blood flowing from my neck and that's it, they rushed me to the hospital. Everything suddenly happened ," he said. ****
