Corona Virus Spreads, Two Car Brands Do Not Enter Indonesia

Chairman of the Indonesian Automotive Industries Association (Gaikindo) Yohannes Nangoi said there are two new automotive brands that are still holding back from entering Indonesia immediately because of the Corona outbreak in the world.

Even so, Nangoi said no investors had withdrawn due to the coronavirus in Indonesia.

"But at least Hyundai has started to build, MG (Morris Garage) will enter," Nangoi said.

One of the Chinese electric car companies that are widely rumored to enter Indonesia is Build Your Dream (BYD). I realized, BYD will follow in the footsteps of other Chinese manufacturers namely Wuling and DongFeng Sokonindo, which have already invested in Indonesia.
