Gubri Syamsuar Said 6,800 Corona Virus Rapid Test Process Underway in Regencies and Cities

News24xx.com - The process of rapid tests (the results of rapid tests detecting antibodies) is ongoing in all districts and cities in Riau Province. There are 6,800 rapid test kits that are distributed to all health facilities in Riau.

"Today, we are reviewing two puskesmas in Pekanbaru City in the context of conducting a 2019 (covid-19) corona virus disease rapid test of ODP that has been recorded in Pekanbaru. Until now it is still negative," said Riau Governor (Gubri) Syamsuar on the s interrupted his visit at the Simpang Tiga Health Center, Marpoyan Damai District, Thursday (2/4/2020).

Now, the Riau Provincial Government is still waiting for reports from each district and city. All regions are still in the process of rapid testing.

"This rapid test is a kind of initial examination of a person's immunity. This way, we already know the conditions in Riau," Syamsuar explained.

Moreover, the status of People in Monitoring (ODP) is high because there are Indonesian Workers returning from Malaysia. This ODP was also added by people returning from Jakarta

"In the review of the two puskesmas (Pekanbaru City Health Center and Simpang Tiga Health Center) this is to see the rapid test process. Now only 6,800 rapid test processes are carried out in Riau. The most in Bengkalis, Meranti, Dumai, and Kampar and Indragiri Hilir," said Syamsuar .
