News24xx.com - A Muay Thai fighter suffered a terrible skull fracture after he was cast during a contest in Thailand.

The injury that occurred at the Patong Stadium in Thailand on Monday, requires a French fighter known as Jeremy to undergo surgery on his forehead.

His operation went successfully because he had a titanium plate mounted on his skull and now he was discharged from the hospital.

Jonny Betts, a fighter who trained at the Muay Thai Tiger gym in Phuket, is the one who reveals Jeremy's horrible wounds on Facebook.

"A few bad injuries caused by a big elbow on Monday night at the Patong stadium," he wrote.

"He had surgery last night, I hope he gets better!"

Betts also claims that Jeremy did not even bother after being elbowed.

"His Thai opponent is doing a big elbow attack that causes injury," he told Sportbible.

"He's fine.He does not stagger and keep fighting, but the referee stops his fight so the doctor sees the wound and his doctor immediately stops him. '
