First edition novel of Harry Potter was stolen in Thetford, Norfolk

News24xx.com -  The first edition of Harry Potter's first book entitled Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was stolen.

The book that allegedly worth IDR 789 Million, was also missing from SN Books in Thetford, Norfolk with a number of other rare books.

The Norfolk police says the possibility of thieves picking it up between the 8th and 9th of January. The books became scarce because of it's sale value.

"Between in two days in the early morning, there are two men who are likely to enter the storage room," said the Norfolk police was quoted by the BBC on Thursday January 18 2018.

The owner of SN Books who sells used and rare books in the UK, Josh Laffar, said the man spent 30 minutes in it.

In addition to the first edition of the Harry Potter book, the rare books from 'The Hobbit from 1937 were also stolen. And also the book of 'Winnie the Pooh. Total there are 12 rare books that stolen.

"J.K Rowling's first novel is a success novel in worldwide," he concluded.
