President Joko Widodo Bought a Modified Motorcycle Chopperland

News24xx.com - President Joko Widodo ordered a custom motorcycle Royal Enfield Bullet 350 cc which was modified into Chopperland.  Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media Secretariat of the President, Bey Machmudin, said the main reason President Jokowi bought the motorcycle was to increase the value of local products for better brand value.

"To increase the brand value of the nation's children, it is not only now that the President encourages the work of the nation's children, such as enjoying coffee at Sejiwa Coffee, Bandung, or drinking coffee at Aming Coffee, Pontianak," said Bey at the Bogor Presidential Palace complex on Saturday (20/1 / 2018).

In addition, according to Bey, Jokowi see the products produced by this nation's children have the potential to be sent abroad. It is believed that the resulting product can compete with similar products produced abroad.

"The president sees no export potential, so the President is pushing that way," Bey said.
The motorcycle was purchased by Jokowi from Elders Garage custom garage, based in LebakBulus, South Jakarta. The price to be paid Jokowi for Rp 140 million, which he took from a private bag.  "From [his] personal money," said Bey.

Prior to submission to Jokowi, the motorcycle was exhibited in various places, including in Japan. "Before being accepted by the President, the bike was exhibited in Japan," said Bey.

Jokowi fancy the motorcycle when it was exhibited at the Sumpah Pemuda October 28, 2017 at the Bogor Palace. Jokowi had ridden the bike. He then interested and ordered the bike.*
