Bhamrawa being tolerance village in India

But this village may be the answer to countries where there is a great tension between Hindus and Muslims.

A village in Uttar Pradesh, precisely in Bhamrawa Village, Hindus and Muslims participate in parties and rituals together at the Shiva temple. The land for this temple was donated by a Muslim in the eighteenth century.

The village of Bhamrawa, with a population of nearly 3,000, has 75 percent of the Muslim population. According to documents available at the centuries-old library of Rampur Raza, the temple was built in 1788 on land donated by Nawab Hamid Ali Khan.

Awadh, covering what is now called the Uttar Pradesh region, founded in 1722 when Nawab Saadat Ali Khan came to power, has been a province of the Mughal Empire since the mid-16th century.

The fertile region, with a thriving agricultural economy, is one of the most prosperous regions of northern India.

Both communities have lived in perfect synchronization in the region, reports PTI.

Police Inspector Vipin Tada speaks to PTI about the harmony in the place despite communal tensions across the country and says that Bhamrawa is one of the few examples of communal harmony in the state, and perhaps in this country.

"It is very surprising to see the Shiva temple in the guarded village of Muslims, who regularly work together and participate in religious rituals, it is very surprising to see a mosque just opposite the temple." he says.

Asked about the use of loudspeakers in the village, Mohsin Mian, a villager, said the loudspeakers at the mosque were silent during religious ceremonies in the temple, and vice versa.

Villagers also say that members of the Muslim community in the village provide security to the temple even when there is communal chaos in Rampur or in other parts of the country.
