Provincial Parliament (DPRD) of Riau proposes the tax of Pertaline is zero percent but Governor refuse it

News24xx.com -  Riau Provincial Parliament member has proposed to Provincial Government (Penprov) before hand so that motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) especially Pertalite to become nil percent.

Since recently the price of pertalite in Riau IDR 8.000 per liter the most expensive in Sumatra and almost same with the price in Papua.

In fact Riau Province is the biggest migas (oil and gas) producer in Indonesia. But community been loaded with the fly high price of pertaline while become more difficult in finding premium at fuel pump station (SPBU).

However, the proposals were refused by Riau  Provincial Government, because it  then will be no more regional income tax. Riau Penprov  has proposed to DPRD Riau, amount of pertaline tax decrease from 10 to become 7,5 percent.

“Not to reach nil percent, lah.  If 5 percent we will obey” said Plt Riau Governor (Gubri) Wan Thamrin Hasyim, on Thursday, March 22 2018.

He said, that the one to be pity on later is region, since the portion is 30 :70

 

Wan Thamrin suggested, for this time condition of region financial is limited. It means, if the tax be eliminated so the income for region will also decreasing.

“Not reach nil percent, because the condition in region is critical.  What a pity, they get nothing” said the former Rokan Hilir Regent. 

He, himself also said about  Pertalite case that created to become political issue.  The Issue keep 'fried' (being roughly processed)  to become politic. 

 “That is a mistake case” he confirmed.

Meanwhile, Branch manager of  Pertamina Sumbar-Riau Company, Rahman Promono Wibowo, in relation to Pertalite tax that recently is being arranged by Special Committee (Pansus) in DPRD Riau, he said will follow how much thetax decided by DPRD Riau.

“If only five percents, we will follow.” Rahman Pramono answered.
