The trade turnover between Russia and China in the first quarter of 2018 was increased sharply

News24xx.com -  The total volume of bilateral trade for the first three months of this year is about 23.06 billion dollars.

While trade turnover between Russia and China in the first three months of 2018 rose 28.2 percent compared to the same period in 2017. This is evidenced by data from China's main customs office.


It should be noted that the volume of exports from China to the Russian Federation for the first quarter of this year increased by 23.7 percent and by 10.3 billion dollars. 

Imports of goods and services from China to Russia was increased about 32 percent (USD 12.7 billion).


In 2017,  the trade turnover between Russia and China was increased up to 20.8% if compared to the previous year and USD 84 billion of exports from China to Russia was increased up to 14.8% or about USD 42.9 billion, while imports from Russia was increased up to 27.7% or about USD 41.2 billion, according to RIA Novosti.


In January this year, Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi confirmed his readiness to enhance strategic cooperation with Moscow.


The Foreign Minister made sure that he was prepared to implement the consensus reached by leaders of both countries. He also pointed to the need to continue to deepen strategic cooperation and make efforts to build a new form of international relations.


Foreign Minister Wang Yi and said that the partnership between Russia and China is not moving.


He also noted that China is fully confident about the strength of relations between the two countries because of the friendship of the leaders of the country.

Previously, because of sufficient gas reserves in many cities in China, the authorities intend to increase the supply of natural gas from Russia.
